Paper Work Done?

The boys were disappointed because we had to cancel going to their play group on Thursday, they were really looking forward to it and they reminded me all day and they would ask to go through the list of who they were missing..... Justin, Olivia, Natalie, Ian, Rose, Anysia, Demetraki, Kristen, Daniel. And then they would say “who else Papa?” Well lets see, I think that is everyone. About 2:00 in the afternoon (after hours of errands and constant reminders that we did not go to our play group) Daniel said that I needed a "time out" for not taking them to Pam’s house. I can see now why my parents never told any of us kids where we were going until it was time to get in the car. It’s a really great group and we are going to miss all of you. Hopefully we will get to see everyone on Sunday and say goodbye.

Well our paperwork is done (as far as I know) a miracle occurred somehow. I received a call from “The secretary of State’s office” this morning requesting a cover letter stating what country we will be traveling to. Not sure what that is all about, but it is done. I don’t ask questions anymore. We found out today that we have a microwave and washing machine in the apartment we will be staying in, we may have to pick up a fan, but that shouldn’t be a big deal. I called and set up the limo to get us to the airport, so that’s done. Jeanine’s mother is taking the rabbit for the month and we will try to drop him off this weekend.
I will be taking a break from packing/organizing this afternoon, Jeanine's brother and sister (ages 12 and 13) are coming to stay for the weekend. Probably the last time we will see them for awhile …….. We leave a week from today.

Congratulations!! You must be relieved that all the paperwork is finished. Gotta love the 11th hour paperwork. We still have a bit of that when we get back (INS fingerprinting). And houseguests the week before you leave? You guys must be very laid back! Looks like we won't see you on this trip afterall, but maybe we can catch up, even if it's just for a few minutes when we return for our little guy. Have a safe trip!
